What types of cards can I accept with my smartphone?

Pay's mobile ATM allows you to accept a wide range of payments, including debit cards, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), contactless payments (NFC) and mobile wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. This gives your customers the flexibility to pay in the way that is most convenient for them.

Is it safe to accept payments through my smartphone?

Yes, it is very secure to accept payments through your smartphone. Our mobile ATMs use the latest encryption and security technologies to ensure that every transaction is processed securely. This protects both your data and that of your customers from fraud and theft.

What are the minimum requirements to use SoftPOS?

  • Android 11. (API 29) and above.
  • Supports app installation from Google Play.
  • Supports Google Play Services.
  • Device must be able to receive security updates and have a recent security patch (Samsung devices: no older than 6 months, other devices: no older than 3 months).
  • Supports hardware-based key attestation.
  • Supports NFC.
  • Supports light sensor.
  • Device must not be rooted.
  • Device must pass Android compatibility test.
  • Device bootloader must be locked.
  • App must not be built in a way that allows extraction of native libraries from APKs during installation.
  • No hooking framework (e.g. Frida, Xposed) installed on the device or bundled with the app.

Which devices does SoftPOS work on?

If you have an Android, you need at least version 11, in addition, your Android must not have jailbreak software or be in debug mode. This also applies to other handhelds, such as Zebras, Sunmi or other vendors.
