The well-known 'shop now, pay later' brand AfterPay will officially change its name to Riverty on October 4. The name change is officially launched to webshops, partners and consumers in the near future with a major campaign. In order to put Riverty on the map, the consumer campaign will continue after the launch on October 4.
From mid-August, AfterPay will communicate the transition and what it means for webshops, partners, and consumers. Until October 3, nothing will really change for webshops and consumers. On October 4, AfterPay will switch to the new name Riverty. The most obvious place where this is visible, is in the checkout. Consumers will see a new combined AfterPay/Riverty logo there. The final transition to the new Riverty logo will then take place in March 2023.

Both AfterPay and Arvato Financial Solutions (the parent company of AfterPay) are changing into Riverty. Both companies will continue under the same name from October 4.
