Permit for acquiring
Pay holds a license as a payment institution, granted by The Dutch Central Bank on July 29, 2013. This enables us to offer a wide range of payment services.
Certifications
The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) is a security standard for organizations that store and process cardholder data. The purpose of the certification is to protect data, reduce fraud and reduce the risk of a data breach.
Pay. complies with all requirements regarding the safe handling of data. Data is stored at Dutch data centers. We only collect data that we need for processing payments. For more details see our privacy statement
The International Standard for Assurance Engagements (ISAE 3402) statement reports annually on the reliability of the payment processing process by an independent IT auditor. This audit ensures that we meet the highest international standards in risk management and internal control.
This standard establishes specific requirements for establishing, implementing, executing, monitoring, assessing, maintaining and improving a documented Information Security Management System (ISMS) within the context of the organization.

Reliable partner
Pay. holds an acquirer license for iDEAL, Bancontact, American Express, Mastercard and Visa. Thanks to this license, Pay. can independently manage the cash flows of these card networks without third-party intervention. The result: a reliable, efficient and stable payment process.
Principal Member of Mastercard and Visa
As a financial institution and acquirer, Pay. is one of the principal members of the card networks, which means that Pay. has direct contact with Mastercard and Visa for transactions and is responsible for verifying their proper processing.
