Pay. holds all required certifications and licenses within Europe. So you can rest assured that your business is in safe hands.

Pay. is a regulated payment institution and is registered with De Nederlandsche Bank. 
A payment institution provides payment services, such as facilitating money transfers and direct debits. All Dutch payment institutions must be officially registered in the DNB's register of payment institutions. Which means you will, of course, find Pay. right there. 

Certification

Pay. has acquired all necessary certifications with regards to the safe handling of payment details and consumer data. 

PCI DSS
Pay. is PCI DSS certified. The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) is a security standard for organisations which store and process cardholder data. The aim of the certification is to protect data, limit fraud and reduce the risk of a data breach. 

 

 

GDPR
Pay. meets all requirements regarding the safe handling of data. Our data is stored in Dutch data centres. We only collect data that we need to process payments. For more details see our privacy statement

ISAE 3402
Pay. is ISAE 3402 certified. The International Standard for Assurance Engagements (ISAE-3402) statement demonstrates that an organisation is in control of its outsourced processes.

Acquiring license

Pay. is acquirer and processor.

Pay. has an acquiring license for iDEAL, Bancontact, American Express, Mastercard and Visa. This enables Pay. to manage money flows from the aforementioned card networks to merchants without the intervention of third parties. The advantages: a reliable, efficient, and stable payment process. 

Principal Member of Mastercard and Visa
As a financial institution and acquirer, Pay. is one of the most important members of the card networks. Key members are responsible for contacting Mastercard and Visa directly regarding transactions and monitoring/verifying correct processing.
Every year an external party conducts audits of Pay. This is how we guarantee that we comply with the latest requirements and regulations.

Our organisation, the security of our systems and processes, and our finances are audited on an annual basis. Guaranteeing that our systems and business operations comply with the latest technological requirements and national and international regulations.
